About Mark G. Alexander:
Mark G. Alexander is a principal in Alexander, Covington & Co. He has vast experience in business, especially in health care, the travel industry, and the automotive field. He has managed, operated and been in executive roles on both the local and national level.
During his 30-year business career, he has been deeply involved in acquisitions and sales of local and national businesses. He understands both sides of transactions, so whether you are a buyer or seller, he is uniquely positioned to assist in making either the acquisition or the sale as easy as possible.
Moreover, he understands the confidential nature of these transactions. He works in the most professional and careful manner to ensure that your business is conducted with the utmost confidentiality. All prospective buyers are required to execute a number of confidentiality agreements and financial viability documents.
Mr. Alexander is a graduate of Mississippi State University and has attended a number of executive seminars in leadership, sales, management, marketing and executive negotiation.
About Mitch Covington:
Mr. Mitch Covington is a principal and Co-founder with Alexander Covington &
Co and is a graduate of the University of Alabama and holds a Masters of
Business Administration degree from the University of Tennessee. He is
received extensive training and is certified by Broker Services Network in
New York.
Mitch has spent the last 20 years working in his own businesses, one of
which was an Inc. 500 private company, and working in senior level positions
with large pubic corporations. In each of his business experiences, he has
lead mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and other business transfer
operations where he gained valuable experience in a very wide range of
business transactions. He realized that there are many business owners and
leaders that are looking to either buy a business or sell their existing
business and just donšt know where to go for help. Mitch started CBS for
just that reason to assist people in confidentially finding buyers or
sellers and making the transaction in a confidential, professional, and
effective manner.
While located in the Southeast, Alexander, Covington & Co can provide

Scott is our broker associate based out of Madison, MS. Scott is a lifelong resident of Madison and attended college in Hinds County. He specializes in retail sales and is knowledgeable of all facets of retail business. Scott has been a retail business owner and quite successful.

About Janet Gordon, Broker Assistant:
Janet has worked with the principal for over 25 years. A graduate of Mississippi State University, Janet is an expert in the use of computers, Word, spreadsheets, and Quickbooks. She logs all new listings and sends necessary information to buyers and sellers. Accuracy and timeliness in response to parties is of utmost importance. Janet works closely with Brokers and Associates to assure smooth flow of information. She is also knowledgeable of the business model and maintains strict confidentiality of all information.
